Ann's journey began at The University of Texas at Austin, where she earned a BFA in Studio Art. She then embarked on a career as a graphic designer and art educator. However, it was in 2013 that she discovered her true passion and began painting full-time. Her unwavering dedication to honing her oil painting and watercolor illustration skills is a testament to her commitment to her craft.

Recently, Ann joined a thriving letterpress company, Color Box Weddings, where vintage letterpress invitations are designed and printed by hand in the Color Box studio deep in the heart of Dallas, Texas. Owner of Color Box Letterpress, Rhonda Warren, and Ann have a 25-year-long friendship, and Ann is thrilled to work alongside the talented designers and printman at Color Box Weddings. Ann truly believes every experience in her professional journey led her to where she is today; as she melds her watercolor illustration talent with her graphic design skills, Ann is excited to enter the wedding invitation business and be a part of the Color Box Weddings team.

Ann continues to design wallcoverings for Ann Jackson Art, and her current body of artwork, featuring delicate botanical butterfly watercolor paintings, is a testament to her fascination with nature. Ann, married to her husband, Chris, and the proud mother of two adult children, finds inspiration in the natural world surrounding her.
